Hunting championship

In 2005, in the city of Justo Daract, we began with the activity of promoting each hunting championship. It was in this championship and thanks to the active work of Mr. "Turco" Rama and Florentino Reynoso, that everybody could appreciate the great interest that all the hunters of the area have for the breed. 

A great number of prizes, recognitions and dogs of the best selection were granted to the winners.

We were also pleased with the presence of foreign visitors from the USA, France and Chile who could live some days surrounded by the magic of the Dogo in action.

 

Dogo Party

In 2004 we had the possibility to participate in the first Dogo party and we were received by a group of lovers of this breed in a great way.

 

The following one is part of the file taken to the conference. It is necessary to highlight the importance of the breed in that country and how European breeders have more interest in preserving it than many of Argentina.

Friends of dogos from Córdoba, Argentina and the world:

First of all I´d like to thank you for being present in this homage and for giving me the possibility to say these words.

These lands have seen the realization of my father's dream: the creation of the Dogo Argentino. After his tragic death, this completely defined and genetically stabilized breed was spread throughout the world thanks to his brother's effort, Agustín. But what hardly anyone knows is that in these places and in the capital there were many of these dogs left in the hands of friends and the family who knew how to maintain the essence of the Dogo.

I take this opportunity to thank you for the daily support given to our dog. The heirs of Toño continue to defend what was imposed by him and agree that all the changes regarding the breed should not be carried out in unilateral and arbitrary ways like the ones taken in the last years.

It is from the inland region that the Dogo arose, and it will be there where we will defend our dear dog breeding.
